CHILDREN FROM PUNE ORPHANAGES COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2021
AN INITIATIVE OF SAB KA MANGAL HO FOUNDATION
With the core intent to democratize quality yoga in India, Sab Ka Mangal Ho Foundation (www.sabkamangalho.org) – meaning ‘Wellness For All’ in collaboration with SOSVA as our execution partner have been imparting Iyengar Yoga training to the children in the orphanages. Physical fitness and mental tranquility being the two most essential factors for human evolution, our endeavor has been to help these children to grow mindfully as they become future citizens of the nation.
As the world came together to celebrate the International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2021, more than 100 children in the age group of 9 to 16 years, both boys and girls from the orphanages of Matru Chaya, Saraswati Anath Siksha Ashram, Nachiket Balagram and Dyandeep Balakashram came forward to give a demonstration of the yogic practices imparted to them for the last three years. Each orphanage gave a stupendous presentation for five minutes which was quite intensified with focus, vigor, and action. One could literally witness every moment a team spirit of togetherness along with enthusiasm and happiness throughout the performances as they were celebrating the universal day of wellness. SKMH have so far touched over 600 lives.
