The Sab Ka Mangal Ho Foundation celebrated the International Day of Yoga
Homevilla Yoga, a renowned Yoga studio at Kemps corner successfully took over the spirit of PM Modi’s initiative on the International Day of Yoga in Mumbai this year. After bringing together over 700 children from various schools for a mega Yoga session last year, the team reached out to the backbone of the city, making it special this time around.
The morning of 21st June dawned with about 100 working personnel from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation learning a simple set of Yoga poses at August Kranti Maidan. Men and women gave the best they could with a spirit of happiness and togetherness to celebrate the universal day of wellness.
The BMC Commissioner Mr. Praveen Pardeshi, Additional Municipal Commissioner Mr. Pravin Darade, Assistant Commissioner Mr. Vishwas Mote, Dy. Municipal Commissioner Mr. Anand Waghalkar and Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Smt. Pallavi Darade were also a part of the event, jointly organised by the BMC ‘D Ward and Sab Ka Mangal Ho Foundation. Since its inception in 2016 the Sab Ka Mangal Ho Foundation has been channelizing all efforts to provide quality Yoga training across orphanages around the country. The foundation seeks support from Yoga teachers around the globe, in order to reach many more locations within and beyond India to propagate the idea of welfare through Yoga in the years to come.
Wellness of the community, by the community and for the community is the goal soon to mark a positive revolution in the minds of the people eventually making them happier.
